Footbridge is a U.S. 501(c)3 organization making your contributions tax deductible.

"A footbridge connects two points over an obstacle."

Witnessing - firsthand - the consequences of inadequate medical care and the lack of educational opportunities around the globe has driven us to take action in the name of Jesus.  This drive led to the creation of Footbridge and we hope to introduce you to both the ministries of Footbridge and the opportunities you have to partner with us to make a difference . . .

Footbridge is working through indigenous churches and national partners around the world to offer the poverty-stricken a connection to quality healthcare and life-changing educational opportunities.

MEDICALLY, this means staffing medical clinics hosted by indigenous churches, often offering people their first visit to see a dentist, eye doctor, or physician.

(Check out our pictures and reports from past trips and see if one of our future trips may fit in your schedule and interest area.)

EDUCATIONALLY, this means offering scholarship opportunities for continuing education in the fields of ministry, education, or medicine to those impoverished nationals simply needing a “hand up” in life.

(Check out the stories behind of our first group of students being sponsored in Zimbabwe, Togo, and Jamaica.)

Action brought about Footbridge and we hope this website introduces you to both our Footbridge vision and ways you may partner with us to make a difference!

Working through the indigenous church, the mission of Footbridge is to:

  • Connect doctors and medical professionals from all fields of the healthcare world (medical, dental, eye, specialty, etc.) to missions among the world's poor, in order to help meet their physical and spiritual needs, and,
  • Provide access to educational opportunities to nationals that they might carry on the expansion of Christ's work in their community.
